Welcome to the Troop 964 Web site!

We are an active troop that meets every Monday at 7:15pm to 8:45pm. Our meetings are held at the American Legion Hall located at 51 Lions Dr., just north of Route 22, in Lake Zurich, IL. We are chartered by American Legion Post #964 and are grateful to the men and women of this post for providing our troop with a meeting place and supporting our activities.

Troop 964 plans a weekend activity at least once a month.  We participate in weekend camping trips at various campgrounds in the area.  We also participate in council sponsored events including the spring and fall camporees and the Klondike Derby.   We also offer day outings that include hiking, cycling and marching in the Memorial day parade.  We have slept on a submarine and went on climbing adventures.

Our regular summer camp is held at Owassipe Scout Reservation near Muskegon, Michigan.

We are active in the community through our sponsorship of Cuba Road in Lake Zurich. Twice a year we cleanup this road and surrounding area. Our past Eagle projects have also had a big impact on the area.

We have a lot of fun whether we are camping or doing service for others!
